Make your own, completely personalised fabric wrap, and create a new family tradition by wrapping gifts in your homemade wrap. Become more of an eco-family by making another small change, and get rid of wrapping paper for good. Replace it with this beautiful, uniquely designed and created fabric wrap, which you can use over and over again, and for years to come.
This is the perfect workshop to do with your family members, so you can make it together and make an extra special cooperative wrap.
You will be a sent a kit ahead of the workshop date, including a plain, white, 100% cotton fabric wrap, a set of 12 double tipped fabric pens, and a box full of iron on vinyl. During an hour long Zoom workshop, we will talk through designs, ideas, different themes to include on the wrap, as well as the best ways to use the pens on the fabric, and how to use iron on vinyl. You will also learn to use the Matisse style ‘draw with scissors’ of creating, which is brilliant, and produces some really organic and unique shapes.
You will also be sent a Zoom meeting code and password. You can use this to log in to the Zoom meeting when it is time for the workshop to start.
You will also need an iron and scissors for this workshop, which will not be provided in the pack.
This is an online workshop, with a maximum of 10 participants. You don’t need any experience to take part, but you will need an adult to supervise with ironing and cutting if you are under 16.
After this workshop there is the option to purchase additional fabric wraps so you can create more with your fabric pens and leftover iron on vinyl, with the new skills you have learnt.
